Heart & Vascular Centre

At Caucasus Medical Center, patients have access to the full range of scheduled and emergency cardiology, arrhythmology, and cardiac surgery services. The hospital operates a cardiac intensive care unit and a cardiac surgery department, where treatment is provided by a team of highly qualified specialists.

All diagnostic tools are available 24/7, which is critically important for accurate patient management. Both transthoracic and transesophageal echocardiography are performed, along with Holter monitoring. A key component of functional diagnostics—exercise stress testing and stress echocardiography—is also available around the clock.

As part of its outpatient services, the hospital offers CT coronary angiography using a 640-slice CT scanner, allowing for detailed assessment of the heart’s blood vessels—coronary arteries—through computed tomography.

The Heart Center has a capacity of 23 beds and is equipped to manage acute and emergency cardiac cases 24/7.

To prevent or detect the disease at an early stage, screening tests are recommended for men from the age of 40 and for women from the age of 50, with the frequency determined by the doctor based on individual needs.

It is important to be aware of the symptoms that should prompt you to see a doctor, especially if you have had them before:
