Biography

 

Dr. Nikoloz Lomidze, Doctor of Medical Sciences, is a licensed cardiologist, arrhythmologist, and cardiovascular surgeon. He joined the Caucasus Medical Center in 2022 and has successfully led the Arrhythmology Department.

 

He has nearly 30 years of experience in the field. In 2005, he defended his dissertation on the topic: "Clinical and Experimental Validation of a New Method for the Diagnosis and Electrophysiological Therapy of Tachyarrhythmias." Notably, since 2003, he has actively participated in and delivered presentations at international conferences in Russia, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Italy, France, Israel, and other countries. In addition to his medical and scientific activities, he has been involved in training arrhythmology specialists through schools and seminars, delivering lectures and presentations in Kazakhstan, Russia, Belarus, Ukraine, Moldova, and Armenia.

 

Regarding his scientific and research activities, it is noteworthy that under his leadership, two multicenter studies have been conducted. Additionally, Dr. Nikoloz Lomidze has published 27 articles and over 60 scientific abstracts in foreign medical journals.

 

Since 1998, Dr. Nikoloz Lomidze has performed approximately 4,500 surgical treatments and currently serves an average of 500-600 outpatient patients annually, offering the following services:

 

  • Radiofrequency and cryoablation of arrhythmogenic foci;
  • Implantation of antiarrhythmic devices such as pacemakers, defibrillators, CRT-P, and CRT-D, etc.
