Biography

 

Giorgi Jinchveladze is a licensed vascular and general surgeon. He joined the Caucasus Medical Center team in 2021 and has been successfully leading the Vascular and Endovascular Surgery Department.

 

With nearly 20 years of experience in the field, he has completed around 30 internationally recognized courses and workshops in the Netherlands, Turkey, Germany, and Serbia on topics such as “Treatment of Deep Vein Obstruction,” “Treatment of Venous Reflux Using the VENASEAL Closure Method” (a minimally invasive technique), and many others.

 

He frequently attends international conferences and continuously stays updated on the latest research and approaches in angiology and vascular surgery. Additionally, as part of his scientific and academic activities, he is the author of five publications and is actively involved in the educational process as a lecturer.

 

Due to his active involvement in medical, scientific, and academic fields, he is a member of the European Society for Vascular Surgery (ESVS), the Georgian Association of Angiologists and Vascular Surgeons (GAAVS), and the European College of Phlebology (ECoP).

 

As a vascular surgeon, Giorgi Jinchveladze performs an average of 350–400 surgeries annually and, together with his highly qualified and experienced team, offers the following services:

 

  • Treatment of peripheral vascular diseases caused by atherosclerosis;
  • Treatment of trophic ulcers of vascular origin;
  • Diagnosis and treatment of diabetic foot using modern (minimally invasive) methods;
  • Surgical and endovascular treatment of major vascular aneurysms;
    Management of stroke caused by carotid artery stenosis;
  • Diagnosis and treatment of deep and superficial vein disorders, including congenital and acquired pathologies;
  • Endovenous (bloodless) surgery (radioablation) for varicose veins and venous trophic ulcers;
  • Miniphlebectomy and sclerotherapy for varicose capillary networks.
