Oncologist-mammologist Liana Koplatadze has worked at Caucasus Medical Centre since 1987. She graduated from the Faculty of General Medicine at Tbilisi State Medical University and has worked at oncology research centres in Tbilisi and Moscow. She is a licensed oncologist-mammologist.
In addition to 40 years of outpatient practice, she has many years of experience as a mammologist in a breast cancer screening programme. She has also completed numerous professional development programmes.
Liana Koplatadze offers patients comprehensive outpatient care:
- Comprehensive initial consultation. A thorough medical history and assessment of individual risk factors.
- Modern diagnostics. Planning of breast ultrasound, mammography and MRI examinations, careful interpretation of results, and accurate diagnosis.
- Prevention and monitoring. Ongoing follow-up of benign breast lesions (fibroadenomas, cysts, etc.) and strategies for the early detection of breast cancer.
- Patient education and support. Training in breast self-examination and counselling on the importance of preventive healthcare.
