Dr. Nino Chkhaidze, Hematologist-Transfusiologist, Onco-Hematologist, Doctor of Medical Sciences, and Associate Professor, has been a member of the Caucasus Medical Center team since 2020.
Since 2023, she has been the Head of the Hematology and Transfusiology Residency Program of the Evex/Vian network. She is a member of the Georgian Association of Hematologists, the Georgian Society of Thrombosis and Hemostasis, and the European Society for Medical Oncology (ESMO), and is the author/co-author of 11 scientific publications.
In 1994, she graduated from the Faculty of Medicine at Tbilisi State Medical University. From 1994 to 1996, she completed her clinical residency in Hematology at the Scientific Research Institute of Hematology and Transfusiology named after Acad. Gr. Mukhadze.
She has extensive professional experience, having worked at the Hematology and Transfusiology Scientific-Clinical Institute (1996–2014), the National Center of Surgery (2014–2020), and Tbilisi Oncology Center (2014–2018).
Alongside her active clinical practice, she has engaged in academic work as a visiting lecturer in both Georgian- and English-language programs at Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University (1999–2014), Shota Rustaveli Batumi State University (2016–present), David Tvildiani Medical University, Caucasus International University, European University, and Georgian University.
She actively participates in international conferences, trainings, symposiums, and congresses, often as a speaker.
At Caucasus Medical Center, Dr. Nino Chkhaidze provides outpatient and, when necessary, inpatient care for patients, offering diagnosis and management of hematologic disorders and pathologies such as: anemias, erythrocytosis, thrombocytopenias, thrombocytosis, leukopenias, leukocytosis, bleeding disorders, lymphadenopathies, and onco-hematological diseases.
