Obstetrician-Gynecologist Ana Khoperia has been a member of the Caucasus Medical Center team since 2021.
She is currently a PhD candidate at David Tvildiani Medical University and is working on a doctoral research project focused on cervical pathologies. Dr. Khoperia has completed specialized professional training and holds qualification in performing colposcopy.
Her professional practice covers preventive, diagnostic, and therapeutic aspects of women’s health. She places particular emphasis on reproductive health assessment, diagnosis and management of hormonal imbalances and menstrual cycle disorders, as well as individualized selection of contraceptive methods.
Dr. Khoperia is actively involved in the diagnosis and treatment of infections of the female reproductive system, as well as the screening and management of cervical pathologies.
In outpatient practice, she successfully performs the following procedures:
- cervical cytological screening (Pap test, HPV testing);
- colposcopy;
- colposcopy-guided targeted biopsy;
- endocervical curettage;
- endometrial biopsy performed in outpatient settings;
- insertion and removal of intrauterine devices (hormonal and non-hormonal);
- insertion and removal of subdermal contraceptive implants;
- minor minimally invasive gynecological procedures in outpatient settings.
