Biography

 

Dr. Nino Tevdoradze, an endocrinologist, joined the team of highly qualified doctors at the Caucasus Medical Center in 2020 and has held the position of Head of the Endocrinology Department since 2021.

 

In addition to her 13 years of experience in the medical field, as a lecturer, she is actively involved in the educational process of training future doctors, the post-graduate education program in Vienna, and scientific work. Specifically, she is the author of several scientific articles and publications and a member of the working group that provides national clinical practice recommendations. With her participation, clinical guidelines have been developed on the following topics:

 

  • Assessment, treatment, and prevention of vitamin D deficiency;
  • Management of thyroid dysfunction associated with amiodarone;
  • Management of Graves' disease;
  • Management of Graves' orbitopathy.

 

Additionally, she was the translator and editor of the 2014 clinical management guidelines for Wolfram syndrome.

 

At the same time, she frequently participates in training sessions and international conferences, both as an audience member and a speaker, where, while gaining knowledge, she also contributes to the development of innovative treatment approaches and significant research.

 

As a result of her active and productive medical work, she is a member of several international medical organizations, including the European Society of Endocrinology (ESE), the European Society of Young Endocrinologists (EYES), the European Thyroid Association (ETA), the Endocrine Society (ES), and the Georgian Association of Endocrinology and Metabolism (GAEM).
