Academic Doctor of Medicine, Dr. Oleg Koiava, joined the Caucasus Medical Center in 2016 and currently leads the Endoscopy Department.

He is licensed in multiple medical specialties, including: General Surgery; Endoscopy; Bronchoscopy; Thoracoscopy; Laparoscopic Surgery; Surgical Oncology.

Dr. Koiava has gained international experience at leading European clinics, including the Munich Clinical University and the Clermont-Ferrand Endoscopic Surgery Center.

He actively participates in international conferences and congresses. In his scientific and academic work, he has authored 35 scientific articles, one rational proposal, and a monograph on cardiospasm.

Due to his medical and scientific contributions, Dr. Oleg Koiava is a member of the Georgian Association of Endoscopists and the Gr. Mukhadze Association of Surgeons.
