Irakli Kobidze is a licensed thoracic surgeon, oncological surgeon, bronchoscopist, and endoscopist. He joined the team of highly qualified doctors and medical staff at the Caucasus Medical Center in 2019 and currently leads the Thoracic Surgery Department.

He has gained experience in the aforementioned specialties and modern approaches at leading global clinics, including Shanghai Pulmonology Hospital and Acibadem Clinic (Turkey).

He actively participates in international conferences and congresses, explores and implements modern patient management approaches. In 2024, as a speaker, he participated in the 26th International Conference of the European Society of Surgery, with a presentation on "Surgical Treatment of Thoracic Malignancies Using the Uniportal VATS Approach."
