Clinical Oncology is another field of operation of the Caucasus Medical Center, which was created in the hospital following the latest medical protocols and offers patients treatment according to modern international standards. At the center for clinical oncology it is possible to receive full outpatient diagnostic services in one space, in the most comfortable environment. The following services are available for patients:
Outpatient and inpatient Chemotherapy (mono and polychemotherapy regimens), Hormone therapy, Target therapy, and Immunotherapy are performed at the center for clinical oncology. It is worth noting the psychological support service, which cares for the mental condition of cancer patients, as the changed mood due to mental support, ultimately, significantly increases the chances of a positive outcome.
It should be noted that the team of the oncology center staffed by highly qualified professionals, led by Ivane Kiladze, Clinical Oncologist and member of the European Association of Oncologists, actively cooperates with the leading laboratory in the Netherlands, where, if necessary, a consortium of pathmorphology is held and complex cases are discussed. The process is led by Alex Baidoshvili, a Georgian Anatomical Pathologist working in Europe, who is the head of the Evex Department of Pathology. The Oncology Department of the chain is monitored by Zaza Ujmajuridze, an oncologist working in Denmark, who is the head of the Clinical Board of Oncology/Hematology at Evex.
At the Oncology Center, it is also possible to use the service of a personal coordinator.
