The team of highly qualified and trained doctors and nurses at the Caucasus Medical Centre's Postoperative Intensive Care Unit provides patients with continuous monitoring and treatment in accordance with international guidelines following major surgery.
The department includes individual wards equipped to international resuscitation standards and a centralised monitor. In addition to standard vital signs, the monitors have the ability to monitor invasive blood pressure, intracranial pressure, continuous carbon dioxide flow and measure central and peripheral body temperature. Furthermore, bispectral monitoring and assessment of ejection fraction and invasive pulmonary pressure are also possible.
