High-Tech Research Centre

The Caucasus Medical Centre is a high-tech research facility staffed by a team of experienced doctors and equipped with modern, high-quality equipment.

The following procedures will be carried out at the medical centre:

• Computed tomography using CANON 640-slice, SIEMENS 128- and 16-slice tomographs, which are equipped with an extended tunnel-like opening ("Wide Bore"). This configuration combines high image quality with enhanced patient comfort during the examination process;
• Magnetic Resonance Imaging - SIEMENS 1.5 and 3 Tesla induction MR scanners are used to examine all organs and organ systems. This approach enables the diagnosis of a wide range of medical conditions, including oncological and neurological diseases.
• The X-ray examination - FLEXA VISION; With digital X-ray machines from SHIMADZU;
• The latest equipment from Japanese manufacturers OLYMPUS, PENTAX and FUJIFILM is used for endoscopic examinations, which allow for up to 50 types of examinations (esophagogastroduodenoscopy, bronchoscopy, colonoscopy) and endoscopic manipulations (esophageal stenting, ligation, bouginage, endoscopic treatment of bleeding, papillosphincterotomy, polypectomy, etc.). The devices have the function of early diagnosis of oncological pathologies (FICE mode);
• Mammography - SIEMENS Mammomat Select digital mammography unit with workstation. The devices can detect even the most minute calcifications through the utilisation of video and photographic imaging modalities.
• Ultrasound examinations - The clinic is equipped with state-of-the-art ultrasound machines that offer 3D and 4D resolution, enabling the acquisition of high-quality imaging data. The clinic performs ultrasound examinations of the abdominal cavity, thyroid gland, urogenital system and cardiovascular system. In addition, the centre performs duplex ultrasound, which is a dual method of examination, using both traditional ultrasound and Doppler ultrasound of the blood vessels.
