The Caucasus Medical Center has been awarded the highest international clinical quality mark by the European Society of Gynaecological Oncology (ESGO). The preparation process for accreditation lasted three years, during which the gynecologic oncology team introduced numerous international standards and protocols to ensure the highest quality of patient safety and treatment.

ESGO (European Society of Gynaecological Oncology) accreditation is an international quality mark granted to medical institutions or specialists who meet the high European standards defined for gynecological oncology management.

International recognition signifies both the high quality of treatment and the strong qualifications of medical staff, with the ultimate goal of ensuring the best outcomes for patients.

“This accreditation is not only a great achievement for the Caucasus Medical Center but also for the entire healthcare industry of Georgia. We are proud to contribute to the development of gynecologic oncology, which ultimately aims to provide patients with the highest standards of safety and quality in treatment,” said Sophio Aspanidze, Director of the Caucasus Medical Center.

“The international accreditation awarded to the Caucasus Medical Center and our department is not just the recognition of one hospital but of the whole country. Our team provides treatment strictly in line with internationally validated, evidence-based guidelines,” noted Archil Sharashenidze, Head of the Gynecologic Oncology Department at the Caucasus Medical Center.
