General surgeon and oncosurgeon Lado Kostava joined the Caucasus Medical Centre in 2024.
In 2023, the doctor completed a one-month internship at the Department of Visceral Surgery and Transplantation of Heidelberg University Hospital in Germany — one of the leading centers of European surgical medicine.
Dr. Lado Kostava is the founder of the Georgian Pancreatology Association and a member of the Georgian Association of Angiology and Vascular Surgery.
As part of his scientific and professional activities, he has presented at numerous conferences, including the Georgian Pancreatology Association Conference (2024), "Modern Challenges in Oncology" (2026), and "Diagnosis and Treatment of Gastrointestinal Tumors" (2026).
He performs an average of 100-120 operations per year and offers patients full surgical care, including both elective procedures and emergency surgery. He speaks four languages: Georgian, English, Russian, and German.
