Oncologist, Doctor of Medicine, Associate Professor Ivane Kiladze joined Caucasus Medical Center in 2020 and has successfully led the Clinical Oncology Department since then.
During his 20-year career in the field, he has gained significant international experience, including earning a master’s degree from the University of Zurich and participating in the ESO training program on lung cancer treatment. He has also worked in oncology departments of clinics in Spain and Turkey. From 2008 to 2024, he took part in more than 30 training programs organized by the European Society for Medical Oncology (ESMO), the European School of Oncology (ESO), and the International Association for the Study of Lung Cancer (IASLC).
Notably, since 2007, he has been a speaker at more than 50 international conferences. In his scientific and academic work, he has authored and co-authored 45 publications in both local and international journals. At the same time, he is actively involved in the education of future doctors as an associate professor at Ilia State University.
Due to his active medical, scientific, and research activities, he is a member of the European Society for Medical Oncology (ESMO), the European School of Oncology (ESO), the International Association for the Study of Lung Cancer (IASLC), the Board of the Georgian Clinical Oncology Association, and the Oncology/Hematology Medical Experts Council of Vienna Hospitals. Additionally, since 2014, he has been a co-founder and head of the "Georgian Young Oncologists Group." In the same year, he passed the international ESMO exam in Madrid.
As an oncologist, Dr. Ivane Kiladze treats approximately 1,500 oncology patients annually. Together with a highly qualified and experienced team, he provides comprehensive diagnosis and management of oncological pathologies, utilizing the hospital's advanced medical infrastructure and modern treatment methods.
