Biography

 

Dr. Tea Papidze joined the team of highly qualified personnel at the Caucasus Medical Center in 2020 and holds the position of Head of the Head and Neck Surgery Department.

 

She is a licensed general surgeon and a general practitioner, also licensed in the following subspecialties: surgical oncology, esophagogastroduodenoscopy, and bronchoscopy.

 

Dr. Papidze has completed several internationally recognized training courses, such as emergency medicine training at the Israel Center for Medical Simulation and a general surgery training course at Magen David Adom in Israel & Tel Aviv University.

 

As part of her active medical career, she is a member of organizations such as ECE (Educational Credential Evaluators) and the National Cancer Comprehensive Network (NCCN).

 

She actively participates in international conferences and congresses, including as an organizer.

 

Additionally, as a lecturer, Dr. Papidze is involved in the educational process of training future doctors and medical personnel.

 

Dr. Tea Papidze serves an average of 400 outpatient patients annually and offers diagnostic and surgical treatment for the following pathologies:

 

  • Diseases of the thyroid gland
  • Parathyroid gland diseases
  • Diseases of the salivary glands and soft tissues
  • Benign and malignant diseases of the skin and soft tissues
  • Various pathologies of the head and neck region.
