Sofio Tsikarishvili graduated from the Faculty of Medicine of Tbilisi State Medical University, after which she received postgraduate education at the Tbilisi State University, Research Institute of Cardiology and Radiology. In 2007 she received a state certificate in cardiology, and in 2009 received the degree of a doctor of medicine. She later deepened her knowledge at the University of Freiburg, Germany.
Sofio Tsikarishvili has 19 years of experience in the field of medicine. She worked as a cardiologist in various clinics in Tbilisi, and in 2019 joined the Evex team. Ms. Tsikarishvili is the head of the Department of Cardiology at the Caucasus Medical Center and leads the postgraduate education process throughout the network. She is also a member of the Board of Experts in Cardiology/Cardiac Surgery/Interventional Cardiology.
