The Center for Clinical Oncology at the Caucasus Medical Center offers multidisciplinary treatment services
A Clinical Oncology Center of the Caucasus Medical Center is staffed by a new and powerful team of physicians and nurses. Oncology patients are served by a multidisciplinary team at the hospital. Highly qualified specialists working in various fields are involved in the treatment process. The department is headed by Ivane Kiladze, an oncologist with Western experience, who joined the Caucasus Medical Center with his team.

At the department a full range of services is available. From the moment of the diagnose, the clinical oncologist is involved in all stages of the treatment process. A clinical oncologist is responsible for defining tactics and full management of the process, as well as for constant control of the condition and post-treatment monitoring. However, the decision at different stages of the patient's treatment is made by the joint work of doctors of different expertise.

It should be noted that the Oncology Center actively cooperates with the oncology-hematology Medical Expert Board (clinical board) existing within the corporation, which is chaired by Zaza Ujmajuridze, an oncologist working in Denmark. Clinical boards unite successful Georgian doctors working in Georgia and abroad and, among other important tasks, its function is the discussion of complex medical cases.

The Center for Clinical Oncology also collaborates with a leading laboratory in Netherlands, where, if necessary, a Concilium of pathologists is held and complex cases are discussed. The process is led by Alex Baidoshvili, a Georgian Anatomical pathologist working in Europe and head of the Evex Department of Pathology.

In addition, the Caucasus Medical Center has a psychological support service, which is of the crucial importance among cancer patients. If desired, the personal coordinator will provide organizational services related to patients' scheduled visits and medical examinations.
