The cardiac intervention Center offers patients its service during 24 hours in one space with the participation of highly qualified personnel and using ultramodern technologies.
The Caucasus Medical Center provides all procedures, which are necessary for cardiointervention. The catheterization laboratory is equipped with the latest apparatus - Siemens Artis one. The center also has a hybrid operating room, which allows, if necessary, not only coronary angiography and angioplasty, but also hybrid (surgical) operations.
- Cardiac intervention involves instrumental intervention without major and open surgeries, which is performed on the heart by a small incision of the skin using appropriate tools. It includes:
- Coronarography;
- Ventriculography;
- Balloon angioplasty;
- Implantation of a stent, including drug-coated and polymer stents of the latest generation;
- Balloon valvuloplasty;
- Implantation of temporary and permanent implantation pacemaker;
- Implantation of a cardioverter defibrillator;
- Electronic resynchronization of the heart.
