Nino Tkhelidze graduated from the Faculty of General Medicine of Tbilisi State Medical University. She completed her residency at the Helmholtz Moscow Research Institute of Eye Diseases and defended her degree at the same institute. Nino has 20 years of working experience in the medical field. Since 2018 she has been working at the Caucasus Medical Center as an ophthalmologist.

Nino improved qualifications in leading clinics of different countries (Germany, Austria, India). She has participated in many international and local certification events and annual congresses. Since 2018 she has been a visiting trainer of various training courses.

In addition to her professional activities, she is a Professor at the University of Georgia, Visiting Lecturer at Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University, and a Caucasus International University.

Over the years, Nino was a member of the Association of Ophthalmologists of Georgia, the Black Sea, and the European Society of Retina Specialists.
