Tamar Bakhtadze graduated from the Faculty of Chemistry of the Tbilisi State Technical University and continued her studies in pediatrics, first at the Tbilisi University, and then postgraduate studies at the Institute of Experimental Morphology. After deepening her knowledge in various fields of pediatrics, she received a degree of Doctor of Medicine at the David Tvildiani Medical University (DTMU)
Tamar Bakhtadze's professional activity is mainly associated with the M. Iashvili Children's Central Hospital. Today she holds the position of director of the Central Hospital for M.Iashvili Batumi Maternal and Child Central Hospital and is a member of the Evex Board of Pediatricians. Before that, she held the position of medical supervisor at the same clinic for 8 years.
Tamar Bakhtadze is actively involved in educational and scientific activities. She is a visiting lecturer at Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University and trainer of the USAID program in Continuing Medical Education. She is also the author/co-author of about 50 scientific papers and publications.
At the same time, Tamar Bakhtadze actively participates in local and international medical congresses and conferences. She deepened her knowledge in the USA and Italy. Ms. Tamar also actively participated in USAID and UNICEF projects.
