Otar Dikhaminjia graduated from the Tbilisi State Medical Institute's medical faculty and continued post-graduate studies in Clinical Toxicology. Later, he completed a joint mini-residency course in Emergency Medicine at Emory and Tbilisi State Medical Universities, earning state certificates in Clinical Toxicology and Emergency Medicine.

Otar Dikhaminjia's professional career began in 2003. He joined Evex Hospitals in 2013 and has worked in a number of the network's medical facilities. He has been the Caucasus Medical Center's toxicologist and head of the Emergency Medicine Department since 2018. It should also be noted that Otar Dikhaminjia is an active member of Evex Hospitals' Clinical Board of Emergency Medicine.
