Nino Akiashvili graduated from Tbilisi State Medical University. She completed a residency program at the P. Sarajishvili Clinical Neurology and Neurosurgery Institute.

For the purpose of career development, Nino attended numerous international and local workshops. She has been attending international symposia and congresses since 2008.

Nino Akiashvili has worked in the medical field for 22 years. She is currently a neurologist and the head of the Neurology Department at the Caucasus Medical Center.

She is also a member of the Georgian Union of Neurologists, the WFN and EFNS Corporations, and the International Parkinson and Movement Disorder Society.

A number of scientific works have been published with her participation.
