Ivane Chkhaidze Doctor of Medical Science, Professor, Head of the Department of Pediatrics at Tbilisi State Medical University, and Medical Director of the M. Iashvili Children's Central Hospital. He is also chairman of the Evex Board of Experts in Pediatrics. His main area of medical and scientific interest is pediatric respiratory medicine.

Expert of the European Board for Accreditation in Pneumology (EBAP).
He has published 256 scientific papers, 32 of which are searched for by the U.S National Library of Medicine (PubMed.Gov). In 2015, he received the National Prize for Medicine.
