After graduating from the Tbilisi State Medical University, Irakli Kokhreidze completed his postgraduate education in Russia. He gained expertise in the fields of oncology and endoscopic oncosurgery at the N.N. Blokhin Russian Cancer Research Center and Semashko University. Mr. Kokhreidze also studied in the United States and European countries.

Irakli Kokhreidze attained the academic degree of Doctor of Medicine in 2004 and subsequently became an assistant professor in the Oncology Department at Tbilisi State Medical University. He is the vice-rector of Tbilisi State Medical University and the director of the university hospital's Oncology Department. Moreover, he is a member of the European Society of Surgical Oncology and the European Society of Breast Cancer Specialists.

Irakli Kokhreidze is the head of the Oncology Department at the Caraps Medline Clinic and the coordinator of the Department of Mammology at Evex Hospitals. Mr. Kokhreidze is also an active member of the Evex's Medical Expert Council of Oncology and Hematology.
