Bakar Kuchava graduated from the Faculty of Medicine of Tbilisi State Medical University. He later completed a joint study program of Emory University and Academician Nikoloz Kipshidze Central University Clinic in emergency medicine. Mr. Kuchava has certificates in internal medicine, anesthesiology, and emergency medicine.
His professional career began in 1988. A doctor with many years of experience joined the Evex Hospitals in 2011. Today, Bakar Kuchava is the head of the Department of Emergency Medicine of the Ivane Bokeria Tbilisi Referral Hospital. He is also a member of the Board of Experts in the same field.
Bakar Kuchava actively participates in local and international medical conferences and trainings. In 2013 he was awarded an Order of Merit Award.
