Post-COVID Health Management Centers will be established in Tbilisi, Kutaisi, and Batumi
World experience has shown that COVID 19 leaves many consequences on the human body and it is important to manage its complications for further maintenance of good health conditions. Complications are especially common among risk groups: people with diabetes, high blood pressure, obesity, cardiovascular disease, etc. According to the World Health Organization, a health check-up is also recommended for those post-COVID patients, who do not have any complaints at all.

For this purpose, post-COVID health centers will be launched on the territory of Evex Hospitals in Tbilisi, Kutaisi, and Batumi.

Caucasus Medical Center is one of the first where the post-COVID health center was opened on April 14. Post-COVID Patients there are monitored and treated according to the latest international guidelines.

A multidisciplinary team of physicians will provide physical and psychological care to patients. At the center, it is possible to receive outpatient and inpatient services. The staff is trained by Johns Hopkins University Infectious Diseases Specialist, Director of the Assistance Program ,Mamuka Machaidze, and Family Physician Nina Bakashvili who has gained experience in Netherlands. The treatment is planned with an individual approach and envisages a rehabilitation course, both directly based on the Caucasus Medical Center, as well as at the balneological resorts of Georgia.

Besides, the center will offer therapist services and group psychological sessions free of charge as part of a support program to increase the population's access to services.

By the end of May, the chain of Evex Hospitals will also operate post-COVID health centers on the territories of medical facilities in Tbilisi, Kutaisi, and Batumi, which will increase geographical access to services for the population.
